PESHAWAR, July 5: The NWFP chapter of the People’s Students Federation (PSF) on Thursday held a demonstration in front of the Peshawar Press Club against the arrest of a student leader, Ejaz Ali Yousufzai.

The protesting students were holding placards and chanting slogans against the administration of the Peshawar University.

The demonstration was led by PSF provincial secretary Rehmatullah Marwat. They demanded release of the detained student. The protesters also demanded of the university administration to take action against those involved in the attack on a university hostel building.—APP
