KARACHI, June 27: Five ships carrying general cargo, containers and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Split to unload coal, Binga Kenari, Pachaco and APL Shenzhen to unload and load containers, Rose and Chemstar Brave, oil tankers, were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed were led by Wan Hai-301, Jilta Bhum, Lalazar and Beluga Eternity, while APL Shenzhen, Alehsaa, Lucky Arrow, Y.M. Faha, Prem Pride and Rose are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was fairly brisk where a total tonnage of 0.110 million tons comprising 34,379 tons of export cargo and 75,711 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Iran Hesabi, Dimitris, Calvin P. Titus with containers, Sea Princess to load 18,500 tons of cement and Ocean Dominance with general cargo.
