ISLAMABAD, June 26: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Tuesday announced a relief package of Rs200 million for the victims of rain and windstorm in Sindh.

The package includes Rs100,000 as death compensation for the legal heirs of each of the victims. The remaining amount would be utilised for other relief operations, a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat said.

The cabinet division has been asked for the immediate implementation of the prime minister’s directive.Meanwhile, the prime minister has assured the Balochistan government of centre’s full support in relief operations.—APP
