NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 26: The Taluka Nazim of Naushahro Feroze, Munir Ahmed Mubejo, presented a surplus budget of Rs130.538 million for 2007-08 here on Tuesday.

According to budgetary proposals, there will be a total income of Rs130.538 million.

The taluka is expected to fetch Rs 71.698 million from octroi and zila tax, Rs4.048 million from different taxes, Rs1.07 million through rents, Rs1.295 million from fees, besides

Rs8 million from other income, while it will receive an amount of Rs5 million from Sindh government as ADP allocations, Rs5.926 million from SDSSP.

The taluka is also expected to get an amount of Rs33.5million from Sindh government for beautification of Naushahro Feroze.

Total expenditure is expected to be Rs129.722 million.

Break–up for the expenditure included: Rs21.256 million for salaries, Rs15.656 million for contingency, Rs1.586 million would be spent on charged expenditure, Rs 575,000 is meant for payable amount, Rs300,000 for rural development, Rs89.348 million is allocated for development programme.
