JACOBABAD, June 24: A man shot dead his wife and a teenage boy with the help of his brothers and injured three women on the pretext of karo-kari in the Bello Bangwani village in Thul police station’s area on Sunday.

Report reaching here said that Khamiso Banglani with his brothers tried to kill his wife, Ms Zarina, but his family members, Ms Jannat Khatoon, 40, Zahidan, 8, daughter of Bahot and Jamali Khatoon put up resistance and were injured.

However, a bullet hit Zarina and died on the spot. The the man also shot dead one Gahi, 15. Police reached the village and shifted the bodies to hospital for autopsy.

Zarina's brother, Mohammad Sharif lodged an FIR against Khamiso and his brother at Thul police station under section 302 PPC.
