Revenue official arrested

MURREE, June 22: The director of the anti-corruption department, Amir Khattak, arrested a patwari, Tanvir Abbasi, from the Patwar Circle Union Council Musyarhi, red-handed receiving bribe.

Several complaints had been lodged against the patwari but the concerned officials were not taking any action against him.

Some residents lodged a fresh compliant against him with the director of anti-corruption, who arrested him red-handed taking Rs5,000 bribe from someone.—PPI
