KARACHI, June 22: A three-day Dawn's "All About Lifestyles-Summer 2007" exhibition, packed with the finest selling brands and fun-filled activities, began on Friday afternoon at the Karachi Expo Centre.

Despite a hot and humid day, families were seen inside the display and sale halls right from the beginning.

One of the exhibition coordinators said that about 200 tastefully decorated stalls and platforms had been set up in five halls by about 150 vendors. Only families were allowed to the exhibition with no entry fees, he added.

One can get the product of her or his choice at discounted rates, along with lucky draw schemes and enjoyable competitions till Sunday, the coordinator said.

Giving details about some side events of the exhibition, he said that an inter-school photography exhibition, scheduled to begin on Saturday, would display photographs depicting old and new landmarks of the city.

A hall has been dedicated for the promotion of women entrepreneurs engaged in cottage industries and boutiques.

The women entrepreneur pavilion comprised about 40 stalls displaying and selling handicrafts, clothes, shoes, bed linen and much more, the coordinator added.

Families can visit the exhibition from 11am to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Some of the visitors said that one could get the best product including electronic goods, under one roof in a pleasant environment.
