QUETTA, June 18: The bullet-riddled bodies of two missing police constables were found in the Mangochar area of the Kalat district on Monday.

DIG (operations) Rehmatullah Naizi told Dawn that Dolat Khan Kasi and Mohammad Younus Bazai had gone missing in the Killi Nohasar police area on June 13.

Hospital sources said they were fired upon at point-blank range.

Mr Naizi said that it was not clear who could be involved in the killing as no one had claimed responsibility for the brutal act.

He said that families of the policemen belonged to the Killi Nohasar area and they were also posted in the same area.
