MIRPURKHAS, June 18: A disabled man of Kunri, district Umerkot Aslam Pervez Masih, 35, has shown to the world what people of robust health shy away from.

Disable from his both legs, he set off on a `peace journey’ on June 16 from his hometown to Islamabad by pedalling the tricycle by hands. His message is: `Denounce terrorism and religious extremism and spread brotherhood and peace.’

He arrived in Mirpurkhas on Sunday and plans to travel 50km daily. He was warmly welcomed by the disabled people of Gulistan-e-Mazoorin Centre.

He said that he would travel via Sanghar and Nawabshah and reach Islamabad on August 14.

President Gulistan-e-Mazoorin Javed Malik, secretary Lal Mohammad Baloch, vice president Abdul Hafeez, Qamaruddin, Salahuddin were also present on the occasion.
