HYDERABAD: PML workers’ demo

HYDERABAD, June 18: More than 30 activists of Pakistan Muslim League from Qasimabad taluka staged a demonstration outside the press club on Monday in protest against Senator Ghaffar Qureshi, political adviser to the chief minister, and his appointees in the district and city taluka.

A party office-bearer Guddu Qambrani warned that the workers would not rest at peace unless district and city taluka office-bearers were removed from their posts. He accused the senator of committing excesses against devoted and sincere workers and said that he knew well that PML did not exist in Hyderabad district still he was patronising his friends.—Bureau
