SHIKARPUR, June 11: Five persons were injured when 10 armed men attacked them in a restaurant at the Sukkur-Shikarpur Road late on Sunday. Five people were enjoying refreshment in a restaurant near a petrol pump when attacked by 10 armed men with automatic weapons and rocket launchers.
The attackers escaped when watchman at the petrol pump returned fire.
The five who sustained bullet injuries had been identified as Srichand, Ghous Bux, Javed Hussain Hakro, Naeem and Riaz Hakro. Motive behind the attack could not be ascertained.
Police arrested three attackers with the help of dogs.—Correspondent
