KARACHI, June 6: A week-long Systematic Volleyball Coaches Training Programme funded by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) commenced at Islamabad’s Pakistan Sports Complex on Wednesday.

Patrick H. Nicholas, an elite coach of the Marshall University, USA, is conducting the course which covers specific training methods and volleyball skills.

He is assisted by Qazi Mushtaq Ahmed, secretary Volleyball Coaches Board and national instructor.

The course — which is being organised by Pakistan Volleyball Federation in collaboration with Pakistan Olympic Association — will conclude on June 12.
