KHAIRPUR, June 6: A delegation of Indian citizens led by G.S.Gill, who have come to Pakistan in search of their relatives missing since 1971 war, visited Sukkur Central Jail-I on Wednesday.
The delegation was accompanied by officials of the federal interior ministry and the Indian High Commission. The delegation visited the ward of foreign prisoners in the jail but did not find any of the Indian prisoners of war.
The delegates also checked the record of prisoners in Sukkur central jail-I and expressed satisfaction over the record presented to them by the jail authorities, sources said.
ACCIDENT: Two motorcyclists died in a road accident near Bhurgari regulator on the National highway late on Tuesday evening. The deceased were identified as Arbelo Bhutto and Saeed Bhutto.
Reports said that they had come from Rohri to visit their relatives in Wapda Colony, Khairpur. They were on their way back to Rohri on Tuesday evening on a motorcycle when a tractor trolley hit them. Both of them received fatal injuries and died on their way to hospital.
A woman and a child riding the same motorcycle, received minor injuries.
