KARACHI, June 6: Lawyers of the Sindh High Court (SHC), the City Courts and Malir District Courts on Wednesday criticised General Musharraf for simultaneously holding the offices of the president of Pakistan and the Chief of Army Staff, and called for his resignation. They also boycotted all court proceedings from 10:30am to 11:30am in protest of the reference filed against Chief Justice Chaudhry.

Meanwhile, the Karachi Bar Association (KBA) will file a similar petition in the SHC today (Thursday), said KBA president Iftikhar Javed Qazi while addressing a general body meeting at the Shuhada-e-Punjab Hall of the City Courts.
