KARACHI, June 6: Five ships including a car carrier with 180 units are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was light where three ships, Harmony, APL Brisbane to unload and load containers and Swat to offload crude oil were berthed on Wednesday.

Sailing on the other hand was active as seven ships, Iran Shahryar, Sinar Bontang, Wadi Al-Rayan, Ibn Younus, Good Trade, Pacific Champ and Adria departed, while APL Brisbane, Sea Harvest, Utahil Navee, Swat and Adrekni are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 78,332 tons comprising 13,843 tons of export cargo including 1,744 tons of rice and 5,391 tons of cement and 64,489 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Fanta with 180 cars, Y.M. Moon, Hyundai Sprinter and Iran Baabaei with containers.
