BADIN, June 4: Three members of a family, including a minor boy and an infant girl, died and five others were injured in a head-on collision between a car and a rickshaw near Malan bus stop on Matli-Tando Ghulam Ali road on Sunday night.

A car carrying a doctor, Ahmed Jat, his wife and a driver was going to Degree from Hyderabad. It collided head-on with a rickshaw coming from opposite direction.

As a result, rickshaw driver Muneer Khaskheli, his son Gul Zamir, 9, and daughter Eman Fatima, 6 months, died on the spot and his wife Yasmin and another son Gul Naveed, 6, were injured. They were taken to the Hyderabad Civil Hospital.

The rickshaw driver was going somewhere with his family from his Soonharo Khaskheli village.

The occupants of the car also received injuries. The Matli police have registered a case.
