Nine policemen booked

KHAIRPUR, June 4: Nine policemen, including an SHO and two sub-inspectors have been booked under section 395, 342, 506/2, 337-A1, F1, 504 PPC on the directives of High Court Sukkur bench on Monday.

Complainant Sher Mohammad Chandio, resident of Mohalla Bhurgari, Khairpur, stated that on April 15, police officials raided his house and took Rs37,000 cash, three gold rings, one gold chain and other gold ornaments and valuables from the locker.

He said the police officials also manhandled women and his three sons.—Correspondent
