MIRPURKHAS: Mango festival

MIRPURKHAS, June 2: District Nazim Dr Sughra Junejo will inaugurate the 42nd annual national mango and summer fruit festival on June 5 at Gama Stadium Mirpurkhas.

A seminar on the production of mango, its export, harvesting and packing technology will be held on June 6 at State Life building hall. A prize distribution ceremony will be held on June 7 evening at Gama Stadium where Sindh chief minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim will be the chief guest.

The nazim told journalists that the festival was the biggest of the country in which last year 417 growers took part and over 200 varieties of the fruit were displayed.
