KARACHI, June 2: Nine ships carrying DAP fertiliser, steel and to load molasses are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Clavin P.Titus to unload and load containers, Uthai Navee, Calmy Coral and Islander to unload and load general cargo and Good Trade to offload coal were berthed after the departure of six.

The ships, which departed included Kota Ganieng, Ocean Oescador, Valbella, Oel Express, Chemstar Brave and Islander, while Golden Lucy, Calvin P.Titus, Oel Victory, Calmy Coral, Soon Fu and Uthai Navee are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.107m tons comprising 22,144 tons of export cargo including 1,460 tons of cement and 7,120 tons of coal and 85,231 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Al-Kortover, to load 9,000 tons of molasses, Comorin Pride, Wan Hai-303, Evern Govern, Iran Shahryar, Wado Al-Rayan, and Aka Bhum, with containers, Ibbn Younus, with steel, Swat, with crude oil and Sinar Bontang.
