KARACHI, May 29: The University of Karachi has introduced four new disciplines to its evening programmes at the masters’ level this year.

The new subjects include geographical information system, physiology, zoology and international relations. According to the director evening programme, Dr Abuzar Wajidi, the new subjects have been introduced due to the growing interest of students in the evening programmes of the varsity as the KU charged far lesser fee as compared to other public sector varsities.

This, he said attracted mostly those who wish to study while working. Admissions to masters’ programmes would commence from June 4, the director added. —Staff Reporter
