LAHORE, May 28: The Allama Iqbal International Airport police check post arrested two persons for possessing an illegal pistol here on Monday. The duty officer said that Kamran alias Kala and Farasat of Chungi Dogaij, North Cantonment, had come to drop their relatives at the airport for a Jeddah-bound PIA flight.
The airport security force searched their car (LEB-1611) thoroughly and recovered a 9MM pistol. Kamran and Farasat were arrested, and the relatives were allowed an access to the airport.
Sarwer Road police have registered a case against them.
