KARACHI, May 28: Six ships to load and unload DAP fertilizer and rice are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was brisk as Corin Thaikos, Empress Phoenix, Bunga Kenari, Halley Nadhi, Gallant Wave, Viking Merlin and Mol Ability to unload and load containers, Dusky Sapphire to unload cars and Swat to offload crude oil were accommodated berths during the last two days.

Sailing was active Eric G. Gibson, PAC Antlia, Oel Express, Overseas Primar, Nyzdan, Atlantic Express, Multan, Earth Blue, Empress Phoenix and Gemini left the port while Red Sea Spirit, Split, Mol Ability, Corin Thaikos, Iran Tabatabaei and Helley Nadhi are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.249m tons comprising 66,128 tons of export cargo including 12,152 tons of cement and 0.183m tons of import tonnage was handled. The following ships are due on Tuesday: Kot Gan Teng, Y.M. Faha, APL Shenzhen with containers, Sea Harvest and Adria with 26,765 and 35,700 tons of DAP fertiliser and Captain Mark to load 7,500 tons of rice.
