SIALKOT, May 26: The construction of ‘Cast Metal Technology Testing and Training Centre’ at Daska Small Industrial Estate is briskly under way under the supervision of Pakistan Council for Scientific Industrial Research (PCSIR).

The PCSIR officials told newsmen at Daska City here on Saturday that Rs350 million would be spent on the project which would be completed within the stipulated period of two years.

They said the centre would provide advanced foundry, casting, forging and metal testing facilities to industries of Sialkot, Daska, Gujrat, Wazirabad and Gujranwala, besides training of workforce.

They said though the construction of the centre would complete in two years, provision of metal testing facilities would start next month.
