KARACHI: BCom results announced

KARACHI, May 24: The University of Karachi has announced the result of BCom (both parts).

According to the notification issued by the university, 21 per cent of the students cleared the exam. A total of 17,989 students appeared in the BCom examination, however, only 21.04 per cent of the students passed it. The top three positions were secured by girl students.

The university also announced the result of Bachelors in Library Information, all the eight students that appeared in it, passed.

NED senate election: Mohammad Shafique has been elected unopposed as member of the senate of the NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, under the registered graduates category.

A notification to this effect has been issued by the registrar of the institution on Thursday.The election was conducted in pursuance of Section 13(1)(X) of the NED University Act for the period of three years with effect from May 23.
