SHEIKHUPURA, May 23: Five family members were killed while another two sustained serious injuries in a road accident near Aucha Pind, some 55kms from here on Wednesday.
Reports said that the family was going to Lahore from a nearby village in Narowal by car (LOW-5040). As the vehicle reached near Narang Mandi, it overturned when one of its wheels detached from it.
As a result, LDA’s deputy director Ansar Ali, his brothers Afzal and Maqsood, and Misbah and Moniba received serious injuries who later died at Mayo Hospital, Lahore. While Arshad and his wife Shabnam Bibi were also in serious condition.
Narang Mandi police are looking into the matter.
