HYDERABAD, May 23: The Sindh directorate of town planning has declared 25 private housing schemes in Mirpurkhas illegal on the ground that these have been launched without approval from the directorate.

This was announced by Director, town planning, Tahir Ahmed, in a press statement on Wednesday. He said that the schemes included East Satellite Town phase-I, Saad Town, Mohammad Ali Shah Town, Gulshan-i-Afroze, D. M. Colony, Golden City, Sikandarabad, Alam Town, Green Town, Faiz Mohammad Town, Asad Town, Shalimar View, Prem Nagar, Bhitai Town, Al-Atta Town, Ali Town phase-I and II, Model Town, Gulshan-i-Hussain, Gulshan-i-Habib, Umm-i-Hani Town phase-II, Shadman City, Samanabad and Royal City.
