NAUSHAHROFEROZE, May 21: A man critically injured his sister over a matrimonial dispute in Haji Moledino Rajpar village near Mehrabpur on Monday. Sohrab Rajpur opened fire on his sister Shabbiran, wife of Roshan Rajpur, in her house. She sustained chest injuries and was taken to the Kandiaro taluka hospital where authorities say that her condition is critical.

Reportedly, Sohrab wanted a marriage arranged between his son and Shabbiran’s daughter, which Shabbiran had agreed to earlier. However, when she finally later rejected the proposal, Sohrab became enraged and attacked her.

No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.

ACCIDENT: Two men were seriously injured when a Karachi-bound coach coming from Sadiqabad hit their motorcycle near in Kandiaro. Those injured, Ashraf Kalhoro and Niaz Kalhoro, were taken to the Kandiaro taluka hospital.
