RAWALPINDI, May 15: A batch of 26 Pakistani deported from Turkey arrived at the Islamabad International Airport on a scheduled flight, immigration authorities said here on Tuesday.

They were captured by Turkish authorities on charges of illegally entering the country and were deported after completion of their sentences.

Earlier on Sunday, a batch of 97 Pakistanis, deported from Turkey, had arrived at the Islamabad airport. They were handed over to the FIA’s passport cell for further investigations.

According to officials, majority of the deported people belonged to Gujranwala and they had paid a handsome amount to their travel agents for going abroad. The FIA registered separate cases against the agents and started a hunt for them.
