PESHAWAR, May 15: The Provincial Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Sardar M. Idrees, has said that developing a better working relationship with the centre, despite political differences, is a great achievement of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal government.

He was talking to a delegation of women diplomats for Canada led by Political Officer of Canadian High Commission Martin Crooke, who called on him on Tuesday.

The minister informed the delegation of the development activities in the province.

He said the MMA government enjoyed public support as all the cabinet members belonged to the middle class. The minister claimed that remarkable progress had been made for the welfare of the women and minorities.—PPI
