QUETTA, May 13: A large number of women, whose sons and other relatives have been missing for a long time, staged a protest demonstration in Turbat township to mark the International Mother’s Day on Sunday.

According to reports, the women wing of the Balochistan National Movement (BNM) arranged the demonstration. Women from Mand, Tump, Buleda and Pasni area of Makran gathered in Turbat Chowk and chanted slogans against the government.

The protesting women said that their sons and other loved-ones had been missing for a long time and, despite their best efforts, no body had informed them about whereabouts of these missing people.
