FIFA appoints match officials

LAHORE, May 13: FIFA has appointed Amirhosein Karimpour, (Iran) as Match Commissioner, for the 29th Olympics Games qualifiers between Pakistan and Bahrain which is being held at Punjab Stadium on Wednesday.

FIFA, also named referees from Maldives to officiate the match. Saleem Ali, will supervise the match. Ameez Ahmed and Saeed Mohamed will act as Assistant Referees and Rasheed Riyaz as fourth Official.

It will be the second ever clash between two U-21 teams of the two nations in ongoing qualifiers. Bahrain trounced Pakistan in the first match 8-0 at Manama on Feb 28 in the home leg.
