QUETTA, May 13: At least six people were killed and 11 others injured, four of them seriously, when a Karachi-bound coach overturned on the Coastal Highway in the Agor area on Sunday.

Lasbela DPO Ghulam Ali Lashari said the driver of the coach, which was coming from Gwadar, lost control of the vehicle apparently because of speeding.

The coach overturned killing four people, including the driver, on the spot.

He said the injured were taken to the Uthal Hospital where two of them succumbed to their injuries.

Three of the victims were identified as Khair Mohammad, Sher Mohammad and Mohammad Iqbal.

Hospital sources said the condition of four of the injured was serious and they had been taken to a hospital in Karachi.
