ISLAMABAD, May 11: Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi on Friday said that the Saturday rally of the Pakistan Muslim League would give a strong message to the opposition that people were fed up with their policy of doing politics on hired issues.

Addressing a press conference here the chief minister said that over the past few weeks the opposition was busy in creating unnecessary confusion and an impression was deliberately being created that the government was getting instable and losing people’s support.

He said that all such conspiracies would end on Saturday when a large number of people would extend enthusiastic support to the policies of the government.

Pervaiz Elahi said that the opposition remained busy during the past four years to derail the elected government, but the people did not support their moves.

“They have no agenda for the welfare of people and consequently people were paying no heed to their protest calls,” he said, adding “they are now trying to gain political objectives from the judicial crisis.”

He said that some leaders sitting abroad were busy in creating confusion in the country in a bid to make their way to the corridors of power adding the rally would prove to be an eye opening event for them.—APP
