ISLAMABAD, May 9: Two women accused of theft and immoral activities escaped from the women police station here on Wednesday, sources said. According to details, the personnel of Karal Chowki arrested six women allegedly involved in immoral activities and theft on Wednesday and handed them over to the women police station for further legal process.

An investigation officer was interrogating the accused when two of them slipped out of the room and escaped from the police station.

The sources said the women used to trap people and deprive them of cash and valuables after taking them to the green area near Islamabad Highway. They also stole construction material from under-construction building, they added.

When contacted, the women police said the accused had been detained on charges of wandering. The status of the women is married, they added.
