MQM rally on 12th

KARACHI, May 7: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement announced on Monday that it would hold a peaceful rally in the city on May 12 in support of independence of the judiciary.

According to press release issued from London, MQM Coordination Committee member Mustafa Azizabadi said it would be a huge rally against ‘political jugglery’ in the name of independence of judiciary. A detailed programme of the rally, its time and venue, would be announced later, the press release said.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry is due to address the legal fraternity in Karachi on the same day.
