RAWALPINDI, May 7: A batch of 37 illegal Pakistani immigrants arrived in Islamabad from Turkey on Monday, officials said.

The deportees were detained by the Turkish authorities when they were preparing to enter into Greece. Out of the 37, four persons were from Rawalpindi while the remaining belonged to the Gujranwala district.

Shortly after they arrived at Islamabad airport on a PIA flight (PK-766), the immigration authorities took them into custody and booked one of them identified as Khalid Rehman. The accused was the travel agent who had received money from these deportees for sending them abroad.
