DADU, May 1: The father of an eight-year-old boy who was kidnapped on Tuesday threatened to commit suicide if police did not locate his son. He expressed the fear that the culprits might have killed him soon after kidnapping

Muhammad Hussain Panhwar said that his wife Naseeban had attempted to commit suicide when she received news about her son’s kidnapping. Ehsan was playing outside his home in Shahbaz Colony when he was kidnapped, he said.

The SHO of Dadu police Mohammad Ayoub Brohi said that no case had been registered yet as he had just been informed verbally about the boy’s kidnapping. An entry though had been made in police record, he said.

Meanwhile, police raided the new bus stand in Dadu, arrested two persons and recovered a kidnapped boy, Khadim Hussain, 13, who had been missing for a week from his hometown Sakrand.

An eight-year-old girl Bubbly, daughter of Faqir Mohammad Leghari, was kidnapped four days ago from the shrine of Qalandar Lal Shahbaz.

Faqir Mohammad who lives in Sheikh village of Johi taluka said that he along with his family had gone to visit the shrine. When he entered the shrine he found his daughter missing, he said and accused Sehwan police of not cooperating with him.

The SHO of Sehwan Farooq Lakhiar said that police teams had been deployed at different places of the town to prevent such incidents in future.
