Golfers to compete in Malaysia

KARACHI, April 25: A two-member Pakistan team comprising Mohammad Safdar and Daniyal Jahangir will take part in the 105th Malaysian Amateur golf championship at the Nexus Golf Resort in Sabah, Malaysia, from May 17 to 20, the Pakistan Golf Federation announced on Wednesday.

Leading amateur golfers from Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea and United Arab Emirates are expected to take part in the competition which will be played over 72 holes.

Pakistan golfers will depart for Sabah on May 13 with Maj Mohammad Irfan of the DHA Golf Club as manager.—APP
