COLOMBO, April 21: Norway is to resume talks with the LTTE in a bid to revive Sri Lanka’s moribund peace process, Norwegian Embassy sources said on Saturday.
The decision to meet LTTE leaders for discussions come after government chief peace negotiator Nimal Siripala de Silva met with Norwegian Ambassador Hans Brattskar on Friday, government sources said.
Officials said the Norwegian Ambassador is expected to meet LTTE political wing leader S. P. Thamilchelvam and LTTE Peace Secretariat chief, S. Pulidevan on Monday at the LTTE headquarters in northern rebel controlled Killinochchi.
