KARACHI, April 15: Chairman of the Sindh National Front Sardar Mumtaz Ali Khan Bhutto has advised President General Pervez Musharraf to convene a conference of sincere and truly representative leaders from all four provinces for consultation on how to steer the country out of the present crises.

“General Musharraf should seek suggestions from such leaders and implement the same in letter and spirit, as otherwise the deteriorating conditions, also acknowledged by him, may harm the very foundation of the country,” he said in a statement issued here on Sunday.

Sardar Bhutto said General Musharraf had recently admitted, after seven years of rule, that Pakistan was passing through such a situation that it had never experienced in the past.—PPI
