KARACHI, April 15: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has not paid the 15 per cent raise to its employees as announced by the government about eight months back, sources told PPI.
The CAA workers have appealed to the president and prime minister to look into the affair, maintaining that he CAA’s surplus rose from Rs3 million in 2003 to Rs8.55 million in 2004. They said that the nonpayment of the raise was causing unrest among the affected workers and their families.—PPI
