LANDI KOTAL, April 12: Political authorities on Thursday arrested five kidnappers from the Brag Zakhakhel area of the Landi Kotal tehsil, Khyber Agency, and recovered a child from their captivity, officials said.
Assistant political agent Ahmad Khan Aurakzai said the administration, in collaboration with elders of the area, surrounded a compound in the area and arrested the kidnappers, including their gang leaders Khan Sher and Rasool Khan. A boy was also recovered who was later handed over to his parents.
Mr Aurakzai said the gang was wanted in various kidnapping cases.
