Published April 12, 2007

KARACHI, April 11: Naib Nazim Nasreen Jalil has said women in Karachi will never allow any individual or group to impose their own brand of Sharia. Talking to a delegation of women councillors at her office on Wednesday, she said women were capable enough to deal with religious extremists in Karachi. She urged the women councillors to participate in the April 15 rally being organised by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement to denounce stick-wielding Sharia and religious extremists.—Staff Reporter
