KARACHI, April 6: KRL’s off-spinner Saeed Ajmal condemned NFWP-Balochistan to an innings and 59-run defeat on the final day of the four-day Pentangular Cup match at the UBL Sports Complex here on Friday.Saeed claimed five for 87 in 31 overs as the combined regional side crashed to 241 all out in the second innings after resuming at 133 for three.

Having already taken the prized wicket of Pakistan batsman Yasir Hameed (65) and Shoaib Khan Sr (15) on Thursday, the spinner sent back Umar Javed (60, five fours and one six), Ahmed Said (33) and Faisal Irfan (7).

Arshad Khan, the NWFP-Balochistan skipper, made a defiant 24 before falling to part-time leg-spin of Azhar Ali, who finished with two for five in 1.4 overs.

In the other second-round match, Habib Bank completed a three-day win over Punjab at the National Stadium on Thursday.
