LAHORE: Government High School Block No.13, Township routed Renaissance School 6-1 in the 35th Jafar memorial inter-school hockey tournament Friday.
Adnan Rafi (10th minute), Waqar (12th minute), Rahim (23rd minute) and Zahid (43rd minute) slammed a goal each for the winners. Mohammad Nawaz banged home two quick goals in 45th and 46th minutes. Qasim Raza got the solitary goal for the losers in the 17th minute.
In another match, Government Model High School, Model Town, overwhelmed Garrison Academy Whites 4-0. Abid (23th minute) and Shahzad Ali (42nd minute) netted once, while Kashif Waheed was on target twice in the 51st and 60th minutes.
