KARACHI, March 29: Three people were killed on Thursday in acts of violence in different parts of the city. A 26-year-old man was found stabbed to death at a desolate place in Umer Khan Goth within the limits of Manghopir police.

The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where the victim was identified as Manzoor Hussain, hailing from Jehlum. Hospital sources said the man had received multiple stab wounds in his upper torso.

Police said the man was stabbed to death by two motorcyclists who had brought him to the spot with them. They said a woman saw three men going to the spot on a motorcycle. They quoted the woman as telling them that the same motorcycle returned after a while, but with only two people.

Police said that they had received unconfirmed reports about the involvement of the victim in a murder case registered in his hometown. The body was handed over to the victim’s brother-in-law, Allah Ditta.

SHOT DEAD: A 28-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by his step-brother in Liaquatabad.

Super Market police said Mohammed Yousuf, son of Hussain Baloch, was shot dead by his step-brother, Irshad, and his accomplices, near his house in Angara Goth.

They said the victim was a drug peddler and was accused in at least four drug-related cases. He came out of the prison on bail two years ago. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where sources said the victim had received multiple bullet wounds in his upper torso.

BODY FOUND: The decomposed body of a young man was found in the Malir River near Baloch Colony bridge in the limits of Korangi Industrial Area police.

The body was shifted to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre, where the victim was identified as Kamran, 25, resident of Landhi. Hospital sources said the man was killed with a blunt weapon at least 10 days ago. Police said they were still collecting details about the victim.
