ISLAMABAD, March 28: A man missing for the last eight days was found dead in a nullah here on Wednesday. The Shahzad Town police were informed by some passersby that a body was floating on the surface of a nullah at Canor near Rawal Dam. The police reached the spot and shifted the body to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for legal process. The deceased was identified as Nazabat Hussain, 26.

The police said Mr Hussain along with his friends had gone to the nullah on a picnic 10 days ago from where he went missing.

No marks of injuries were found on the body. Samples have been sent to the chemical examiner in Lahore to ascertain the actual cause of death, the medico-legal officer of Pims said.
