KARACHI, March 28: The court of Judicial Magistrate South Abdul Qayyum announced one year imprisonment to Rozi Khan. Rozi Khan of Quetta was arrested by police in 2005 in the jurisidction of Boat Basin Police Station and unlicensed weapons recovered from his possession.

In another case, the court of Additional District and Session Judge South Munawar Sultana on Wednesday sentenced Mohammad Siddique to life imprisonment.

Siddique Mubarak of Chanesar Goth, stabbed to death his neighbour, Amanullah in the jurisdiction of Mehmoodabad police station, on July 6, 1999.

The court sentenced him to rigorous life imprisonment and also fined him R200,000. He will have to undergo an additional six months of imprisonment in case of non payment of fine.
