Sindh TT trials tomorrow

KARACHI, March 26: The trials to select 12-member Sindh table tennis team, including women, for the next month’s 30th National Games begins at Islamia Club on Wednesday.

The Sindh Table Tennis Association (STTA) has invited 13 men and as many women for the final selection. The first phase of trials for players belonging to interior Sindh, was held at Hyderabad on March 10.

A total of seven gold medals will be at stake in the National Games which include men and women team events, men singles, women singles, men doubles, women doubles and mixed doubles.

Probables (men):

Asim Aziz, Hassan Haider, Asif Razzak, Zulfiqar Ahmed, Atta Abbas, Mohsin Raza, Naveed Nazar, Asif Aziz, Nadir Sohail, Ghulam Ali, Awais Hassan, Azeem Khan and Amir Ali.

(Women): Ghalia Khursheed, Ayesha Khan, Sadia Yaseen, Maliha Khursheed, Urooj Nizam, Quratul Ain, Marium Naz, Anza Parvez, Maria Warsi, Zainab, Shahida Yousuf, Naureen Tehseen and Najia Khan.
