ISLAMABAD, March 24: Two proclaimed offenders were found murdered near their hideout in the suburbs of the capital late Friday night, police said. Mohammad Rais, 28, and Jehanzaib, 24, who were wanted by the Shahzad Town police in three cases of robberies and attempted murder were hiding on the premises of a shrine at Chirrah; but were in contact with their family members.

The police said when Jamshaid, a brother of Jehanzaib, went to the shrine to meet him on Saturday he found the bullet- riddled bodies of both the men on top of a hillock.

Jamshaid informed the Shahzad Town police about the incident who reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for legal process.

The police said the motive behind the murder was yet to be ascertained.
